Arshdeep Singh Creates History with Stunning Maiden Over Against England in 3rd T20I

India’s left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh delivered a dream start in the third T20I against England cricket team at Trent Bridge by bowling a sensational maiden opening over. After India won the toss and opted to bowl first, Arshdeep’s brilliant swing and disciplined line completely tied down England opener Phil Salt, who failed to score a single run off the first six deliveries. The remarkable spell gave India early momentum and put immediate pressure on the hosts.

With this performance, Arshdeep achieved a major milestone in T20 International cricket. He became only the second Indian bowler to bowl the opening over of a T20I as a maiden on more than one occasion. Former Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar continues to hold the record with six opening maiden overs, while Arshdeep has now moved into second place with two. The feat further highlights his growing reputation as one of India’s most dependable new-ball bowlers, especially after his impressive spell in the previous T20I, where he conceded just one run and dismissed both England openers.
