In a move aimed at enhancing efficiency and transparency, Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao has announced the launch of a comprehensive online leave management system under the National Health Mission (NHM). The initiative is designed to streamline the leave application process for employees and eliminate the challenges associated with manual procedures. According to the minister, the newly introduced system will make it easier for NHM employees to apply for leave while ensuring faster approvals and reduced administrative burden. The digital platform is expected to improve workflow efficiency and bring greater transparency to the entire process.
As per NHM officials, employees can now apply online for various types of leave, including casual leave, extraordinary leave, and maternity leave. The portal also allows staff to request a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for foreign travel. For extraordinary leave applications, employees will be required to upload relevant documents, enabling authorities to make informed decisions. The system also features real-time updates through SMS notifications, keeping both employees and concerned अधिकारियों informed about the status of their applications. This is expected to significantly reduce paperwork and improve administrative efficiency.
