The much-awaited official trailer for director Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming epic mythological film Ramayana: Part 1 has officially been released, offering viewers a breathtaking glimpse into a grand cinematic retelling of the ancient Indian epic, backed by stunning visual effects and a massive star-studded cast. The trailer kicks off with a powerful dialogue by superstar Yash, who plays the menacing role of Ravana, declaring himself the master of the three worlds. As his tyranny and destruction reach their peak, the narrative transitions to the divine avatar of Lord Rama, played by Ranbir Kapoor, whose serene yet powerful introduction sets the stage for the triumph of righteousness.
The preview highlights key chapters of the epic, showcasing Rama’s childhood battles against demons, his marriage to Mata Sita, played by Sai Pallavi, and the major turning point when Rama, Sita, and Lakshman (portrayed by Ravi Dubey) are forced into a 14-year exile. It further teases the dramatic abduction of Sita by Lanka’s ruler Ravana, setting the groundwork for the ultimate battle between good and evil. The film boasts a phenomenal ensemble cast, featuring Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari, alongside notable appearances by Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, and veteran actor Arun Govil. Produced by Namit Malhotra, the ambitious project is slated for a two-part theatrical release, with Ramayana: Part 1 hitting cinema screens worldwide this Diwali 2026, while the second part is scheduled for a Diwali 2027 release.
