Andhra Pradesh government and Google have agreed to set up a Joint Task Force to enhance collaboration in artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and digital governance. The decision was taken during a meeting between Chief Minister N. He also extended an invitation for collaboration under the state’s “Sanjeevani” project, aimed at improving accessible and efficient healthcare services through digital technologies. The Chief Minister further emphasized the state’s commitment to green energy development, aiming to support data centres and energy-intensive industries with a sustainable power ecosystem. Discussions also focused on integrating renewable energy with digital infrastructure growth.
In a separate meeting, Naidu also met UN-Habitat Executive Director Anacláudia Rossbach and proposed setting up a Centre of Excellence in Andhra Pradesh. The discussions included urban planning reforms, sustainable development goals, slum upgrading programmes, and strengthening municipal finances to support rapidly growing cities.
