India Strengthens Trade, Technology & Tourism Ties with China at First-Ever 3Ts Business Conference

India has taken a significant step toward strengthening economic and technological cooperation with China by hosting the first-ever 3Ts (Trade, Technology and Tourism) Business Conference in Hangzhou, eastern China. The day-long conference brought together more than 800 entrepreneurs, investors and tourism stakeholders to explore new opportunities for collaboration across key sectors.

In his keynote address, Consul General of India in Shanghai, Pratik Mathur, highlighted the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ and emphasized India’s growing role as a global destination for investment, innovation and business. He also underlined the importance of resilient global supply chains, regulatory reforms and recent Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), which have created a more business-friendly environment for international investors.

Representatives from Hangzhou’s Foreign Affairs Office and Trade & Investment Bureau praised the growing engagement between Indian and Chinese business communities and welcomed expanding cooperation in emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence. The conference reflects India’s continued efforts to deepen trade, technology and tourism ties with global partners while promoting sustainable economic growth, stronger supply chains and long-term international collaboration under the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
