At the Telangana Rising Global Summit, Salman Khan Ventures Pvt. Ltd. signed a massive ₹10,000-crore agreement to develop an integrated township and state-of-the-art film studio in Hyderabad’s Bharat Future City — a move positioned to transform Telangana into a global entertainment hub.
The project is the outcome of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s strategic outreach to Bollywood. Impressed by Telangana’s rapid growth in infrastructure and technology, Khan expressed support for the state’s “Telangana Rising” campaign, which ultimately paved the way for this landmark collaboration.
The upcoming cinematic hub will feature advanced production facilities, including high-end post-production and VFX units designed to support large-format films and OTT content. The government expects it to attract projects from Bollywood, Hollywood and South Indian industries, boosting cross-regional creative partnerships.
Beyond film infrastructure, the integrated township will include luxury amenities such as a championship golf course, race course, and premium residences, further strengthening Telangana’s appeal as a destination for luxury tourism. The state has promised full facilitation, including regulatory support, land allocation, and infrastructure connectivity, to ensure timely execution of the ambitious project.
