The Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, witnessed significant investments across tourism, power and the film industry promising a major boost to employment and the state’s economy. Vantara, led by Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani, signed an MoU with the Telangana government to establish a new zoo in Future City, with the facilities available at Vantara in Gujarat, creating jobs during construction and operations.
In the power sector, agreements worth ₹2 lakh crore were signed for pumped storage projects, enhancing electricity infrastructure and generating new employment opportunities.. The summit also focused on the film and entertainment industry, with discussions under the theme ‘Creative Century – The Future of Entertainment. The government assured full support for establishing studios in India Future City to further boost the sector.
Overall, the summit anticipates generating 40,000 jobs, including 10,000 direct and 30,000 indirect employment opportunities. The summit emphasized scaling Telangana’s economy toward a $3 trillion target, exploring startup opportunities and enhancing productivity, marking a strategic step toward economic growth and job creation across multiple sectors.
