Telangana is expected to face a significant drop in temperatures over the coming days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad forecasting foggy and misty conditions across several districts until December 9.
Renowned weather enthusiast T. Balaji has predicted an intense cold wave for the next 10 days, stating that Hyderabad will begin to feel a stronger chill from December 5, with temperatures likely to drop further over the week. The state recorded a minimum temperature of 10.4°C in Kumuram Bheem district while within Hyderabad, Maredpally was the coldest area at 16.7°C.
With temperatures expected to decline further, residents have been advised to take precautions against the cold, especially during the night and early mornings. The likelihood of fog and mist could affect travel conditions, prompting commuters to plan their journeys carefully to avoid low-visibility hazards.
