A joint operation was conducted in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, busting a gang involved in selling stolen Pharmaceutical Raw Materials (API). The Himachal Pradesh State Drug Controller and CDSCO Baddi Zone team under joint operation seized Rs 10 lakh worth of raw materials and arrested three individuals, including two from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and one chemist from Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh.
The investigation revealed that the Gang had been supplying stolen Pharmaceutical raw materials from Uttarakhand to some pharma companies in Himachal Pradesh. The authorities are now investigating the entire racket operation and who were involved and are awaiting a press note for further details from Regulatory side.
