MOHALI, AUGUST 10 — Rayat Bahra University celebrated its 5th International Students’ Convocation, recognizing the achievements of international students across various disciplines including Management, Engineering, Allied Health Sciences, and Social Sciences.
The ceremony was graced by Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Parvinder Singh, Vice-President Dr. Satbir Sehgal, Registrar Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Satish Kumar Bansal, Dean of Students Welfare Dr. Simerjit Kaur, Controller of Examination Er. Abhinav Tripathi, and other distinguished guests.
In a virtual segment, international graduates shared their experiences and emotional connections with the university, expressing their desire to remain connected with their alma mater regardless of where their journeys take them.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, the Chief Guest, conferred degrees upon the graduates, commending their decision to pursue their education at Rayat Bahra University. He highlighted the institution’s commitment to developing students into well-rounded individuals capable of thriving in a global context.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Parvinder Singh praised the university’s cultural diversity, noting that it has fostered a harmonious environment conducive to learning. He emphasized the university’s strengths in employability, cultural diversity, holistic development, and practical learning.
Dr. Simerjit Kaur, Dean of Students Welfare, remarked that RBU has equipped its graduates with a solid academic and values-based foundation, instilling virtues of humility, honesty, and empathy.
