Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has opened applications for its PhD admissions for the 2025–26 academic session. Eligible candidates can apply online through the university’s official portal bhuonline.in until December 16.
The admission process will be conducted through three modes—JRF, UGC/CSIR NET and Direct Admission. Applicants are advised to keep a valid email ID, mobile number, scanned photograph and signature and an online payment method ready before beginning the registration.
The university has also released the detailed interview schedule. For candidates applying to the Arts, Social Sciences, Medical Sciences, Ayurveda, and Science faculties, interviews will take place from January 5 to 16. Meanwhile, applicants from Commerce, Education, Management Studies, Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Law, Dental Sciences, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Agriculture faculties will be interviewed between January 10 and 16.
